Strategic Partners Council

From our existing Resource and Referral Program’s provider organizations, we will recruit a core group of 20 strategic partners, representing a cross-section of literacy agencies, to form an active and communicative coalition of literacy service providers. Participants of this engaged and responsive council will enhance and inform the advocacy and community awareness efforts of the Literacy Network on behalf of all service providers and learners in the five-county area we serve.

The Council will meet four times a year to discuss matters involving advocacy with local and state officials, pass through granting opportunities, opportunities for creating greater community awareness regarding literacy issues, volunteer recruitment, asses new literacy programs and provide feedback on existing programs, etc.
