Literacy Network of Los Angeles

The Literacy Network of Greater Los Angeles relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations to sustain our goal of supporting and improving the literacy services that are available in our community.

Individual Gifts
Individual gifts support the Literacy Network’s efforts to provide professional development, advocacy and community awareness for those involved in the delivery of literacy services to the learner. Unrestricted gifts are among the most valuable to the Network, because they allow us to allocate funds wherever the need is greatest. Designated gifts allow you to direct your gift to a specific program or priority area that is personally meaningful to you. Your gift of any amount truly does make a difference.

Corporate Gifts
Corporate giving provides valuable support to the Literacy Network and includes many benefits that businesses can pass on to their employees. Our Corporate Citizen Council helps companies in the greater Los Angeles area fulfill their mission to support a highly productive, literate workforce.

Tribute Gifts
A tribute gift to the Literacy Network is a wonderful way to honor a family member or loved one on a birthday, anniversary, graduation or in memoriam. These gifts may be unrestricted or designate to a particular program.

Matching Gifts
Matching Gift programs allow you to double or even triple your gift to the Literacy Network through your employers matching gift program. Simply send your gift along with a completed matching gift form (available from your company’s Human Resources office). For contributions made online, please follow the matching gift instructions when you fill out the form.

Estate Planning Gifts
A planned gift, such as a bequest, trust or charitable gift annuity, helps to ensure the continued work of the Literacy Network while providing you with significant tax benefits.
